Anna Sienicka is a graduate of the Canadian College of Homeopathic Medicine (CCHM) and has her own practice near Roncesvalles Village. Anna also holds a B.A. with specialized honours in Kinesiology and Health Science, from York University.

Anna was introduced to the health benefits of wild plants and mushrooms at a very young age. Her family went mushroom picking religiously each fall, starting in August and ending mid-November. Her family was focused mostly on picking edible mushrooms, i.e. Honey Mushroom, Chanterelle, Boletus Edulis, Macrolepiota Procera, Slippery Jack, Russula or Tricholoma Equestre. Most people picked the mushrooms for their unique flavour, considering them a delicacy, but not many people at that time considered their inherent medicinal aspects.

Thirty years later, Anna still goes on forays but these days she collects both edible and medicinal mushrooms which she also incorporates in her practice.

Anna also leads many Plant Walks and teaches others about their benefits.
